DIY Carrot Bookmark

 

There's just something about Easter that makes me think about taking a break from the every day busy stuff to reflect + be with family + rest a whole lot + read a good book or two. That's why, with Easter weekend in the immediate horizon, I couldn't help whipping out this super cute DIY Carrot Bookmark tutorial.

 

materials

For this project you'll need:

- carrot bookmark template (download here)

- 2 tones of orange felt

- 2 tones of green felt

- scissors

- orange + green thread

- needle

- silicon glue

 

step by step

After gathering your materials + downloading your template, follow these super easy photo instructions...

 

 

This crafty project sure got me in the mood to mark off a couple of my pending book to do list this weekend.

    Divinooo! The idea is extremely cool, it looks great when the book is closed and even better when you see the whole thing! You stitch beautifully, at first I thought it was done with a sewing machine. Oh and the little bee in the drawing is also incredibly cute!
